[opensuse] New kernel - 12.1 not shutting down properly

A few days ago, there was a new kernel update for openSUSE 12.1. Since then, I've noticed that my ThinkPad E520 will no longer shut off. Also, I'm unable to recover from sleep mode, after closing the cover.
