Hi folks, I'm new to the list - I've been 'listening' in and everyone seems very friendly and helpful. I've a question concerning 'sendmail'. I'm am currently using 'pine' as my e-mail client, using 'fetchmail' to collect mail from my ISP and 'sendmail' to deliver it locally. I send my mail directly from 'pine'. However, I would like to start using 'mutt' - but as far as I can figure it out, I have to use 'sendmail' to forward my mail to my ISP for delivery. Despite many attempts to configure 'sendmail' to do this, I am having no luck. Could someone supply me with an idiot's guide to 'sendmail' please? I seem to be suffering from information overload and, as a result, confusing myself completely. What I need is just some basic steps to go about configuring 'sendmail'. I am using SuSe 6.4 along with the SuSe 7.0 upgrade which came free with this month's edition of 'Linux Format'. By the by - this is a great list with many interesting tips.
