I was trying to load a TIFF viewer for firefox. I wanted to view some sites which load TIFF G4 images. (I actually use these at work, too - http://www.perfectreign.com/stuff/2008/20080823_yoda_document.png )
I've been unsuccessful at finding anything that can compile or on YaST/SMART.
I tried compiling this guy: http://tiff-plugin.vinay.in/node/7 which gives me a bunch of errors and Plugger (http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger.html) which tells me I need GTK+ libraries. (I have any that I can find.)
Now, on the tiff-plugin, It says I have a bad npunix.o file. The readme says I may want to replace it. Any idea where I can find this file? Maybe it will solve my issue.
My goal is to look at images at the US Patent and Trademark Office (http://www.uspto.gov/patft/help/images.htm).
Okay, answering my own question - after much searching - I found out there is no method for viewing TIFF images in Firefox. I can do it in IE, however, with out much fuss. http://www.donutmonster.com/stuff/20081228_tiff_linux.png Since I have Crossover Office loaded, I just load the ActiveX control and am running. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
