One does not execute html, one views it with a browser.
You simply point your web browser (or Kongueror) at the dvd and from the list of files click on the html file you want to view.
Most of the time you just put the disk in the drive an close the door and a pop up will ask what you want to do. Select open in new window. File browser shows the content, click on the one you want to view. If given a choice, start with index.html.
Perhaps I don't understand the problem. Even windows works the same way, no need to use shellexecute.
I think you'll find he wants Firefox ect to open automatically and display index.html (or .php) Your correct regarding the 'Program Chooser' but unless you know its HTML based (and if you're not apps literate) you may not know which program to choose, I know that sounds incredible. -- Regards Dick Turpin "At these prices I'm mugging myself mate!" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
