Since its not included anymore, and a very few things really need it... how can I install it?
Download it from java.com and run the installer. Apparently that's the only way Oracle permits it to be distributed now.

Do I need to remove openJDK?
Not in my experience.
Will they battle for supremacy?
No, but you may need to adjust some environment variables to get the version of Java to run that you need to.
Does it actually work?
In my experience, yes - otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it. :) Jim -- Jim Henderson Please keep on-topic replies on the list so everyone benefits -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
