You need to mount the entire iso image file using your cdrom mount point.
mount -o loop -t iso9660 /path_to/iso_image /path_to/cdrom_mount_point
e.g.
I should not have used the name susee below,... just to clarify
mount -o loop -t iso9660 /susee /media/cdrom
mount -o loop -t iso9660 /path_to/whatever_the_live_eval.iso_is_named /media/cdrom (on one line)
Hi George, Actually, I'm not trying to mount the iso file, but rather a file that actually resides on it. Here's what an 'ls' gives you on the cdrom: Packages boot/ content ctimne-cp1250.txt ctimne-latin2.txt liesmich.txt media.1/ readme-hu.txt readme.txt The file that I'm curious about is in the "boot" directory: # ls -F boot LIESMICH README bootdisk liveeval loader/ modules1.txt modules2.txt rawrite.txt LIESMICH.DOS README.DOS modules1 modules2 rawrite.exe susee You can see the "susee" file there. Here's more info about it: -r--r--r-- 1 root root 636M Apr 10 03:10 susee # file susee susee: data That is the file that I want to check out, but can't figure out how to mount it.
