I'm trying to decide which desktop mngr to use. kde seems to have more opportunities, but slower. (When i first opened KDE, a setting about animations popped up. I selected the default, with more animations around than i need. Now i want to change that setting, but couldn't find where to. Does anyone know?) Konqueror seems better than Nautilius. In Nautilius, I can't find a file by just writing the first few characters, and can't open a terminal window by Ctrl-T with the current path. Will Nautilius be able to do these jobs? Anyway, i think i'll choose Gnome. But i had two crashes at the same day. I figured out the case : I use Korganizer on Gnome. But if i forget it open when logging out Gnome, i have a crash. Nothing works and i have to plug-out the pc. Is that a problem about using a KDE app at Gnome? Does anyone know an organizer for Gnome as much better as korganizer?
