I too have had good experiences with Reiserfs over the years.
But I'm curious, why is Reiserfs a "dead end"? I get it, nobody cares, but why? Is it because Hans is a knuckle-head?
When you get convicted and end up in jail, your life is gone. It is just over. But you are not dead yet. I think it is this stale-mate that causes the project/product to also end up in a stalemate. You could call it hibernation. That is just my explanation. People usually don't consider what happens to you or your life if you end up in jail.
