Did anyone already try ADSL with SuSE Linux? Or know what is required?
According to what I've heard, the Danish telecom will install an ADSL box that talks ATM, so there has to be an ATM card in the Linux box. But why can't the ADSL box talk Ethernet?
Well, I'm a network know-nothing, but I'm trying. SuSE's yast didn't work for me when I ran the DHCP client instal because it asked me IP addresses that I have no knowledge of, or what to put in the entry boxes. But, I'll get it sooner or later, or know why I can't... -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
