I have to run sax after every boot or else the MS mouse does not respond in Xwindows, though it does work in sax. Nothing needs to be changed in sax, everything looks right, except that it always saves the mouse configuration as 3 buttons when it is actually 2 buttons. I accept the existing configuration and next, next, next..., and "save" when it goes to the test screen...then everything works fine. How to get around having to do this every time? There is a Cirque glidepad on the mouse port for use in Win98, but disconnecting it didn't seem to help. The MS mouse is on one of the com ports, which is indicated correctly in sax. I'm using SuSE 6.1. What I'd really like to do is use the Cirque device with Linux instead of the mouse. Thanks in advance for any "pointers" to a solution.
