Tried the "hide dot files = yes" in both the global and directory sections. But it doesn't load. And i get no errors in the log testparm doesnt show the command either:
#> cat /etc/samba/smb.conf
# Global parameters [global] workgroup = RIKJOH.COM interfaces = 127.0.0.1, eth0 bind interfaces only = Yes map to guest = Bad User hide dot files = yes [lvm] path = /mnt/lvm read only = No hide dot files = yes
#> testparm
# Global parameters [global] workgroup = RIKJOH.COM interfaces = 127.0.0.1, eth0 bind interfaces only = Yes map to guest = Bad User [lvm] path = /mnt/lvm read only = No
