Hi,
Configured my fsab accordingly using root login in the terminal for the below mentioned:
/dev/sda2 / reiserfs acl,user_xattr 1 1 /dev/hdc5 swap swap defaults 0 0 /dev/hdc6 /Data_Disk reiserfs rw,exec,auto,user,sync 1 2 /dev/hdc7 /Backups reiserfs rw,exec,auto,user,sync 1 3 /dev/sda1 swap swap defaults 0 0 proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 sysfs /sys sysfs noauto 0 0 usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0 devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0 /dev/dvdrecorder /media/dvdrecorder subfs noauto,fs=cdfss,ro,procuid,nosuid,nodev,exec,iocharset=utf8 0 0
hdc6 and hdc7 are the new onces included... now the problem is when i login in using my usual user id (other than root), find that I am not able to write anything on to these drives (hdc6 & 7) !! really do not know what is the issue, but I am able to copy / modify files using root login.
