Subject: kernel 2.2.18
After building the new kernel I can't find my zip drive. mount gets
me:
"mount: /dev/sda4 has wrong major or minor number"
What does that mean? How can I find it?
the old insmod imm doesn't do anything now, presumably because it's
built into the kernel but . . .
the drive does activate during the boot process when it is found but
the boot.msg doesn't tell me where it is. It mentions an scsi0 and
sda. I've tried /dev/sda with no effect.
Any suggestions?
David
