Hello Ben, Tried to install libart_lgpl with apt-get result was try apt-get -f install, tried this and after going through two or three new packages it returns with Failed to fetch ftp://mirrors.mathematik.uni-bietefeld.de/pub/linux/SuSE/apt/SuSE/8.0-i386. funktronics/libart_lgpl-###### Unable to fetch file, server said 'Can't open pub/linux/SuSE/8.0-i386/RPM.funktronis/libart_lgpl-#####-i386rpm: No such file or directory. Any ideas now. By the way -f install was going to upgrade 6, remove 6, add new 13, of which libart-lgpl was one of the new. TIA David Ben Rosenberg wrote:

Try installing this package .. libart_lgpl-2.3.10-92 and the devel package if you ever plan on compiling something that links to this library.
