If I read this correctly, you've replied to a IP address not a users mail address.
No, it's Carlos's ip. He is doing his own mail as tiscali appears on too many black-lists for spamming. And, many, if not most, dynamic IPs (Carlos's dialup) are rejected in an ill-conceived effort to limit spam.
Carlos, check your sent mail header please. As knowing Bob, He doesn't write privately for nothing.
Nor does Carlos, but Bob would have to be receiving mail at *his* machine and tell his mta to *accept* mail from Carlos, instead of receiving mail handled by his provider who is rejecting the dynamic ip.
