Hi, In between meetings i tried to install 13.1/64 onto a test-laptop from work. As I am not sure if i may wipe the disk-content i thought installing it on the an usb-stick. Isn't it enough to use grub2 and tell yast to install the bootloader at /boot or /root and remove any attempts to look at /dev/sda (the hd) and /dev/sdc (iso-image) And for the rest, I only manualy partitioned sdb with a 512MB /boot and 7G /-partition. Rest i left to default. Tried a couple of times, sometimes i got a grub-install error, sometimes it completed without error, but never a working result. i did turned of secure-boot, and used compatibility mode in the bios. Did I forgot the something obvious? Hans -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
