I am running Firefox 60.4 under 42.3. In the past I was able to play .mp4 files using my browser. A recent trial failed. What am I doing wrong and how can I view these files?
You need to install codecs from 3rd party, https://en.opensuse.org/Additional_package_repositories most specifically from Pacman. There is a link there, https://opensuse-community.org/ If you already have these installed, then we need more information, like some sample file. .mp4 is just a container and it supports multiple codecs. Some are free, some are not. Good luck, - Adam -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
