Hi, You are absolutely right with this... I administer a free WiFi community AP and last month somebody created a network wit exactly same ESSID and WEP key as me. My users get often connected to the fake network so internet isn't working wor me... It would be great if anyone could connected select AP by its BSSID (mac)... Now it is possible only via "iwconfig 'eth-id' ap 'BSSID'", but it is not too elegant since when the connection is lost, sometimes it recconects again to the wrong AP... Also IMHO it is a security hole...
