is there a special 'OpenSUSE Whishlist' for feature requests?
You could file an "enhancement" severity bug.
I just came across the website of the Elektra Project (http://elektra.sourceforge.net) and I thought it would be nice if OpenSUSE was one of the first Linux Distros that migrate to use this Registry-System!
I'll try to put this politely: Don't hold your breath. And perhaps I simply didn't really understand the project, but to me this looks like ridiculous, unneccessary and based on misunderstood assumptions. In any case it would mean to rewrite nearly all software in the distribution, which certainly is not going to happen. Besides, don't all Windows users whine especially about the registry? At least that's the impression I get when I am too slow to escape computer discussions with Windows users. But discussion of Elektra is surely beyond the scope of this list. Rasmus
