Hi Group;
It is curious to me why people insist on using RPMs. Just simply download it from the Mozilla source and install it. "www.mozilla.org" They normally come with a very nice install.sh. install.sh is a custom build install script to run in a XWindow Managers which allows you to install the file anywhere. Best of all they come from the people that supply the source files.
The choice is yours. But it all comes down on package management. Better stick to 1 package management system (e.g. rpm) to keep things simple, and stick to rpms that are compatible with your distro. So I rather build my own rpm packages instead of installing a tarball. ;) Cheers, Leen
