I downloaded and installed the openSUSE VirtualBox RPM from virtualbox.org. While it installs OK and I can install a virtual machine, when I try to run the VM it fails. I have tried installing DKMS and also virtualbox-guest & host modules, along with X11 drivers. I have included the log below.
I'm confused.... you installed the openSuSE packages or you installed the rpm from the website? The openSuSE packages don't work for me, the packages from the website do the job here.
I first tried the openSUSE ones, in Yast and, like you. found they didn't work. I then uninstalled them and installed the RPM from virtualbox. I was now able to install the ovm, but not run it. The log message I included was after attempting to run the VM. I then tried installing the other kernel modules and it still didn't work. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
