I have 2 system running same 11.2 kde 4.4 one laptop other desktop, I ran into the same problem. On the laptop it worked fine on my desktop would crash with same error above. My amarok works now and I can reproduce the error everytime. Here is what I did on my system: The file ~/.kde4/share/config/amarok_homerc was causing the problem, I had activated a applet called info, I removed the reference to this from that file and amarok started and plays just fine. Before: [Containment 0] firstShowingApplet=3 plugins=wikipedia, videoclip, lyrics, info [Directories] dir_html[$d] dir_locale[$d] prefixes[$d] After (amarok runs fine) [Containment 0] firstShowingApplet=3 plugins=wikipedia, videoclip, lyrics [Directories] dir_html[$d] dir_locale[$d] prefixes[$d] Hope this helps someone Thanks, Tony -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
