Unfortunately not directly. To allow parallel installation and execution this version does not "hijack" an existing profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/recovering-important-data-from-an-old-p... might help.

I assume so because the old one will be unmaintained upstream (actually is already AFAIK). But Firefox on Leap is inherited by SLE and therefore someone from SUSE would need to comment on plans and timeline. Wolfgang
