Since two weeks or so I see this strange behaviour with my laptop's touchpad. Whenever I leftclick with the touchpad button, the contents of scrollable areas in firefox, konqueror and libreoffice move, as if I use a scroll wheel a tick down. Also, clicking this way in windows that are not active, do not bring them on top, just clicking on the window titlebar activates. In Configure desktop, hardware, input devices, touchpad, I cannot find any setting that could explain this.
Anybody have any idea where to look?
Maybye erase (let's say rename, just to test) the KDE folder to use a clean KDE configuration.
I already did that, but that did not help. Also, using a USB mouse gives no problems. It must be something in the touchpad settings, but I cannot find settings for the left button.
Problem still here, some more things I tried: - new user. First try, without changing any setting, same problem. - NX-client window of another machine: same behaviour in the NX-server I'm stumped. Not a single problem in windows7, makes me think I cannot blame the hardware. Someone have any idea??
