Hi, I have not bought SuSe 9.0 yet, but have gone through a bunch of versions before. With any OS, I never use their OS Upgrade option. I find it gives me more grief than it is worth. (Even w/ W*ndose). Instead I always do a clean install. Please, make a good backup of your data (as we all should --- recently save me!), do fresh install and enjoy. I hope this is helpful. Now my stupid system (oh, it's the *system* that's stupid, right?) is coming up in YOU as EIGHT POINT TWO. Where in the world is THIS coming from?! I guess I'm looking at a complete reinstall here. I can't for the life of me figure out where YaST keeps its database. At this point, I'm tired of screwing with it. If I do any reinstalls, it'll just be to Windows XP. Someone please save me! I've been trying to get settled into 9 for almost 4 working days solid now, and there's things to get done in life. I'm at a show-stopper here.
