Thanks Ken, But I already solved the problem. Thanks to Raul Gutierrez that show me the good website (even though in Spanish)8-). But it's quite usefull. Actually my problem is in daemonizing snmp and call the service, not in mrtg itself. Thanks anyway. M. Hi all,
I need help to setup mrtg on 7.3. I already installed the package from
CD, but when I run cfgmaker it seems not work. I really appreciate if someone here can help me.
TIA M. Edwin
I have been using MRTG for over 5 years. Can you be more specific in regards to any errors you get? This is rather sparse and there is good documentation on the MRTG web site and also in /usr/share/doc/packages/mrtg. I use the following, in a script, to generate the info when connecting to Cisco routers. I paste the results in the main mrtg.cfg file whenever I add another router. cfgmaker --ifref=nr (community name)@x.x.x.x > (filename) Ken Schneider -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
