I have got the pcmcia package working, but I do not think suse 6.1 likes my card. I have a Xircom 32 bit Carbus 10/100 card and When linux boots up it tells me that my card is not supported. Is there any kind of fix for this? Do I have to run out and purchase suse 6.3 for this?
I was running this card with SuSE 6.0. Then you should find no problem to use in SuSE 6.1 SuSE version doesn't really matter. The PCMCIA package is what matters. You don't need to purchase SuSE 6.3, but you may purchase SuSE 6.4 in a few weeks. People at SuSE also eat! If you want to install your PCMCIA properly just download the last version of the PCMCIA package. Compile it taking care of the configure options. There's an option to allow cardbus cards. Don't intall any precompiled RPM of PCMCIA package.
