Lately, I've noticed that some of the SuSE web pages seem a bit messed up. When you go to the page, there's a long list of Novell stuff at the left, before you get to the desired info. This happens with both Mozilla and Konqueror. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a new "feature"?
An example can be found here. http://portal.suse.com/sdb/en/2002/09/fhassel_grub_overview.html
Looks OK to me (Mozilla on my Mac).
Curious, it happens with both Mozilla 1.7.7 & Konqueror (kde 3.3) on SuSE 9.2, and Konqueror (KDE 3.4), but not Mozilla 1.7.7 on 9.3. It also doesn't occur with Mozilla 1.7.3 or Netscape 4.61 on OS/2 or Mozilla 1.7.3 or Internet Explorer 6 on XP.
Konquerer struck me as being like Internet Explorer except it was for Linux. Neither is very good at displaying W3C-compliant web content and is intended more as a standard graphical user interface for displaying file directories and other local data. I changed KDE to use FireFox as the default browser.
