Can't seem to get the virtual host to load on port 443. Not getting any tell tale errors in ../log/messages, ../apache2/error_log. The webpage loads fine at http on port 80, but when directed to the same page at https on port 443, the page doesn't load and the browser gets an error of 'can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.0.187'.
Added the following in listen.conf;
Listen 80
<IfDefine SSL>
<IfModule mod_ssl.c> #Listen 443 Listen 192.168.0.187:443 </IfModule> </IfDefine> </IfDefine> <snip>
Any ideas?
I suspect that you were trying a https connection on port 443, but there's only http listening on that port. What happens if you connect via http on port 443? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tried connecting using 'links' to both https :443 & http :443 and I get connection refused. Apache and/or SSL(?) is not listening on that port. I must be missing some parameter in one of the conf files.
