Dear SuSE Linux Fans, I have paid my ISP for leases Channel, that is a leased line with several Internet IPs. So here is the condition : I got say 10 IPs ( internet, static ), and I registered a domain name say www.suse-fan.com and point the primary and secondary name server to my own machine and my isp's. Questions : 1) Though I have pointed the primary server to my machine, it is NOT broadcasting the DNS database to others name server. But once the slave ( my ISP ) take the data, it is spread widely to the world very quickly.... why can't my own machine which is primary name server can't broadcast the data ? 2) about Reverse IP, In books I should made reverse IP configuration files, BUT 2 ISP that i paid for the channels, said they are authorative for the Reverse IP not me. How this can be ? Your explanation for my englightment is very valuable.
