At first glance, below I see in /var/log/messages refers to
/lib/modules/2.6.5-7.75-smp/modules.dep not
/lib/modules/2.6.5-7.95-smp/modules.dep
I think this might be a red herring.

Hello list: I am using SUSE 9.1 on a Dell Poweredge server and seem to be experiencing some problems after applying the latest kernel update. /var/log/messages says: Jul 13 16:54:40 groupware modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.5-7.75-smp/modules.dep: No such file or directory
