Thanks for the response, I have looked at Scribus but my understanding it only runs on the Pro version because of the server requirement. I have not taken the plunge to Pro yet still learning on desktop. I am also waitting for Novell to ship my resource kit with the Pro update. I'll look at the others. I can convert publisher to PDf with PDF995. ==========
You would be quite mistaken then, as Scribus is available and runs on many different flavors of Linux and many different levels. You do yourself an injustice, if you fail to give it a look. There are 9.1 rpm files of earlier versions on their site, should you not want to compile and I have the last CVS 1.2 version compiled for SuSE 9.1 also. Linux has come of age with DTP and Publisher cannot compare to it now! But then Publisher hardly compared to anything to begin with in the DTP arena. ;o) Lee -- --- KMail v1.7 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.1 --- Registered Linux User #225206 Those Who Dance Are Considered Insane, by Those That Cannot Hear the Music!
