Hi, I have two problems. I run 6.2 as an Internet-dialup-router for about 150 computers in a school. One network card, one ISDN adapter. My syslog gets flooded with messages like these: Feb 17 12:10:14 angel kernel: isdn_ppp: No compressor set! Feb 17 12:10:14 angel squid[576]: comm_udp_sendto: FD 35, 192.168.1.1, port 0: (22) Invalid argument Feb 17 12:10:14 angel squid[576]: comm_udp_sendto: FD 35, 192.168.1.1, port 0: (22) Invalid argument Feb 17 12:10:14 angel kernel: isdn_ppp: No compressor set! Feb 17 12:10:15 angel last message repeated 16 times Feb 17 12:10:15 angel squid[576]: comm_udp_sendto: FD 35, 192.168.1.1, port 0: (22) Invalid argument Feb 17 12:10:15 angel squid[576]: comm_udp_sendto: FD 35, 192.168.1.1, port 0: (22) Invalid argument Feb 17 12:10:15 angel kernel: isdn_ppp: No compressor set! Feb 17 12:10:16 angel last message repeated 16 times Feb 17 12:10:16 angel squid[576]: comm_udp_sendto: FD 35, 192.168.1.1, port 0: (22) Invalid argument The No Compressor Set-messages are always in my syslog when I install ISDN-PPP, because in some options-file, all header-compression is beeing deliberately turned off (WHY?!). Does somebody know which header-compression I must switch on for these messages to disappear? The squid-messages I'm not sure.. Looks like some client isn't requesting pages in the correct way. What can I do about this? They are mostly Internet Exploder 4/5, some are CrashScape 4.6/4.7.
