Hi,
As the title really. I have no idea what is going on. It happened after the UsrMerge update and now I can't install the propriety drivers at all without completely killing my GUI. Is this a known issue at all? I don't want to try again because I haven't been able to fix it.
Simon.
Yes, it's a well known, much discussed (in the mailing lists and forums), and
noted at the UsrMerge page, see:
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Usr_merge - which suggests the workaround:
cd /usr
ln -s . /usr/usr
Which works fine for my TW/Nvidia desktop.

Thank you so much! That fixed the issue for me. Simon.
