Prabu, dvi stands for "device independent" if you excute latex on the file
either through the tools option on kile or by simply typine latex
lettter.tex at the command prompt. that, barring any errors, will generate a
letter.dvi file. Under the tools menu in Kile you will find other options
though depending on what you have installed like pdflatex which will create
a .pdf file or a postscript option which is there as well. you can print a
dvi file, obviously a .pdf file or a .ps script file and you won't see the
latex source. there are also utilities like "dvips" which generate
postscript files out of .dvi files and ps2pdf which well, it should be
obvious what that does. wayne

Now I want to print it, but I don't know how.
If I just do "File-->Print Source" than I will only get the same print out result as the source code. I want the result as under below : " SCO and Microsoft down but SuSE up
