I tried updating with SUSE 11 DVD, but it raised some new issues. So, please tell me how to revert from SUSE 11.1 to SUSE 11.
Regards, Pavan
What worked for me was to keep the existing oS 11.1 & put oS 11 on a new partition- you can use a new/spare HD also. Then the oS 11.1 data folders can be accessed from oS 11. PS: The new oS 11 GRUB was installed on the / (i.e. / of the new oS 11) partition; not on the MBR (as during install default, is to locate GRUB on the MBR). You will then need to modify/add menu.lst to chainload the new oS 11, using GRUB of oS 11.1.
