Having a conviction is fine. And standing by your decision is great. Having zeal is fine. But once you've come as far as the FSF have, it's too far and they're just hurting their image rather than promoting their cause. Their ultimate goal is commendable. But what are they really doing to promote it? If they want alternatives to closed source software, they should sponsor and help develop alternatives. Otherwise it's simply hot air that just eventually becomes annoying static. -- Michael S.
