Is there a rpm-build package available for SuSE.
In SuSE, the rpm RPM installs all of rpm. 'rpm -ba' will work fine. Red Hat's insistence on constantly splitting packages is highly annoying. I expect that by RHL 9.0, each file will be in it's own rpm. For those lucky souls that don't know, Red Hat split their rpm install into 5 different packages in recent distributions. One of them was 'rpm-build' which is required for 'rpm -ba' to work. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+AIBj+FOexA3koIgRAk2NAJ44bhYq+j81J0n545Et1dDVV+Kd1gCfYl2+ OwPDypI2kuXObVuQ//wxTxU= =oErc -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
