Note: I'm running 12.3 x86_64
Hi All,
Today I started seeing this error:
File '/repodata/repomd.xml' not found on medium 'http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/KDE_Release_411_open SUSE_12.3/' I'm now unclear about what's going on after reading this page: https://en.opensuse.org/KDE_repositories
The KDE repositories that I have configured are as follwos:
KDE 4.11.2 for openSUSE 12.3 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/411/openSUSE_12.3/
KDE4 Extra http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/KDE_Release_411_openSUS E_12.3/
Is the problem simply that some mirrors are down or have I run into a 'dead end' and I need to revise my repositories?
Thanks & regards,
Carl
Hi Carl, You should fix your repos for KDE. There is no KDE:Release repo anymore. There are 1) supported and tested core KDE packages provided with the distribution with same Plasma desktop; 2) the KDE_Current (and latest) version of the KDE Software Compilation; 3) Factory, KDE packages under development for the upcoming openSUSE release. https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:KDE_repositories#Current_KDE_SC_release If you were using 4.11 you may wish using the second one KDE_Current to keep all your packages up to date. http://www.dennogumi.org/2014/03/being-current/ Regards, R.
