Hi all, i´m wondering if some1 knows the basic commands used by Apache web Server when u do a telnet to it. I mean, when u do

I know it uses "GET", ... but it isn´t of much help if i cannot change to another dir. Thanks in advance ...
With HTTP servers, you do not change directories. You have to specify the entire path to the file. For example, if I wanted to use the URL: http://www.myhost.net/rfc/rfc2068.html I would telnet to www.myhost.net port 80 and type: GET /rfc/rfc2068.html You can find out more about the HTTP protocol by looking at the associated RFC (RFC2068). You may well have installed the RFCs onto your box, so have a poke around and try a locate for rfc2068.txt.gz.
