Because he's not trying to be humorous or friendly. He's just trolling KDE4 at every moment he gets.
Maybe we need to look more carefully at the /reaction/ and what might have caused all of that defensiveness, rather than the original post. And, as always, one can choose /not/ to take the bait. Still defining trolling.
