+1, I'd reseat the RAM and make sure all your fans are working. Depending on the age, you may be looking at a capacitor issue. If it is a desktop, you can look at the capacitors, if any look like a "puffy beer can" or a "soda you left in the freezer too long", you've got the likely culprit. -- David C.
