The only thing slightly concerning is the usb disconnect and the cache synchronization fail (which may be normal, I don't know)

Since opensuse has chosen btrfs as a default, the activation of snapper occurs by default, but should ignore all filesystems other than btrfs.

How old is the MOBO? Have you given the board a look-over for puffy capacitors (they start to look like beer cans left in the freezer too long when they start going south). That type of hardware failure is hard to diagnose otherwise. When a failure occurs, it is rarely logged and the machine just locks.
- thank you kindly for looking into this : MOBO is about 10 years old : will open-up box to look for puffy capacitors. - wondered as Snapper was last item : just thought maybe snapper forgot to ignore EXT4 file-system - again : many thanks ..... regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
