Well, I would have to do it with dd for reliability. No tool I know so
far can copy video and audio (two tracks) cutting a region without
crashing or manipulating the tracks.
I can not tell the recorder to start and stop at points of my choosing.
I have to tell it to record certain program, and it chooses the points
from the official start and end times of the program. If I stop the
recording, it deletes the file.
that's curious. really no way to give day/time to start and stop?? what
model?
are there no very short program? in France we have some 30s long :)
