I am unable to get the F1 key to generate anything except a "not installed on your computer" message. I cannot find either under Yast or Google where to get the appropriate package to add the help files.
Thanks Don
It is fixed:-) Files are loaded in /opt. So I placed the files in /usr/lib64/libreoffice/help/en-US and the system appears to work. No Problems noted so far. How does one make this fix generally available to Opensuse/libreoffice users?
it doesn't need to be made available. it is not correct. you were provided the proper solution, but choose to do otherwise. and it may come back to haunt you.
Why do you attack so. I hope this is a friendly list. I did do what you suggested: zypper -v in --force libreoffice-l10n-en but the files were placed in the /opt/libreoffice directory as I described previously. So I moved them to: /usr/share/libreoffice/help/en-US/ and it works. We are close to saying the same thing, except where zypper put the files.
