It's totally random because your running into what Linux people have bitched about for years. These sites most likely have badly written code or it is written for things that IE can do but Netscape can not..or at least can not do very well. Give Mozilla 0.8.X a try. I have only had it on one site that had very, very malformed Javascript...otherwise it's damn rock solid.
