Is there a command like "route -n" that will show all virtual IPs?
Something like 'ifconfig -a' ?
Install package 'iproute2' and use 'ip addr show'. Also, use of 'ip' command is encouraged to setup virtual IPs, the alias-interface (e.g. eth0:0 fro the first virtual IP) is the old model... 'ip' is used to setup all of the aadvanced networked options in the 2.2 kernel series, incl. NAT, the advanced routing stuff, etc. Example: ip addr add 1.1.1.1 dev eth0 would setup address 1.1.1.1/32 as alias IP on eth0. Type just 'ip' to get a help screen, and 'ip addr help' for help on the addr attribute, etc., it's all very easy. -- Michael Hasenstein http://www.suse.de/~mha/ SuSE Linux AG, Nuernberg (Germany) SuSE Inc., Oakland, California (US) -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
