Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way for a terminal program to startup automatically when a machine is restarted, and when you login it will show as an open window?
If not, can it be startup if a user automatically logs in to the gui?
Can it be startup just in the console with no gui? (This would be the best, as this program is running on a server and I don't need the gui running)
If it does not actually require any input, you could write a script for it, put it in the /etc/init.d directory, and place the appropriate links in the run levels that you want it run in.
