Wrong - I was told - explicitly - by AT&T that they only - allow access - by pop - NOT by imap Yes, if you use the addresses they provide. I have the same situation with my ISP. However, if you use the Yahoo addresses, then you get imap and more. Give it a try and see what happens. Also, you don't have to change the smtp address, unless you want smtps for encrypted link between you and the server.
