Wow I find that fascinating, where have you been? Since 2007 the openSUSE project has been lead by it's project Board https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Board It consists of 6 individuals, 5 elected by the community and one chairman appointed by SUSE (currently me) Elections happen each year, choosing either 2 or 3 replacements for the Board. Elected Board members serve a term of 2 years. No more than 2 elected Board members can be employed by the same company. The announcement of this years election was posted almost a month ago on news.opensuse.org, and all relevant mail lists, including opensuse-announce@ https://news.opensuse.org/2018/02/26/2018-opensuse-board-elections/ The list of candidates is available here: https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2018-03/msg00013.html openSUSE Members are able to vote https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Members Regards, -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
